The Executive Board of IBPO Local 623 vetted and voted unanimously to endorse the following candidates for office in the November 3rd, 2009 City of Atlanta elections.  It is the policy of the IBPO Executive Board not to solicit candidates running for office, but rather interview and vote on endorsing a candidate only if the candidate reaches out to our local for our endorsement.  Several candidates running for office never approached our union to ask for our endorsement or waited until their competition announced our endorsement to ask, therefore they were not considered in the process.
